Class Descriptions

Vinyasa Flow

Vinyasa Flow is a dynamic and fluid style of yoga that links breath with movement. In this class, you'll move through a series of postures that seamlessly transition from one to the next, creating a dance-like flow. Expect to build strength, flexibility, and balance while keeping your mind engaged and present. With varying sequences, each class offers a unique experience, making it perfect for those who enjoy a blend of creativity and movement. Suitable for all levels, Vinyasa Flow will leave you feeling energized, centered, and refreshed.

Ashtanga Primary

Ashtanga Yoga follows a set sequence of poses, which are divided into several series, with the Primary Series (Yoga Chikitsa) being the foundational one. An Ashtanga Yoga class is a dynamic and physically demanding style of yoga that follows a specific and structured sequence of poses while emphasizing breath control and movement coordination. This style of yoga was popularized by Sri K. Pattabhi Jois and is known for its challenging nature and meditative qualities.

Mindful Slow Flow

Mindful Slow Flow is a gentle and contemplative yoga practice that encourages mindfulness, breath awareness, and slow, deliberate movement. It provides an opportunity to connect with your body, reduce stress, and find a sense of inner tranquility through the practice of yoga. This is an extended 75min practice which gives us an extra 15min at the end of class to practice pranayama and meditation.

As a qualified Mindfulness facilitator, Carey's Yoga teaching is deeply rooted in a practice of presence and embodiment, cultivating self-compassion and authenticity through slow, steady movement. She loves integrating meditation and moments of stillness in her classes too.

Strong Flow

A dynamic, breath-led practice designed to build strength, flexibility, and endurance. Expect energizing sequences, core activation, and fluid transitions that leave you feeling empowered and revitalized.

Yin Restorative

Yin Restorative class is a gentle and nurturing yoga practice that combines long-held Yin and Restorative poses, breath awareness, and mindfulness to promote deep relaxation and rejuvenation of the body and mind. It is a perfect choice for anyone seeking a restful and calming yoga experience. Less effort, more surrender.

Hatha

A Hatha Yoga class is an accessible yoga practice that focuses on alignment, breath, and mindfulness. Expect longer held yang poses with emphasis on the breath within a sequence. This style of yoga is perfect for individuals of all levels, including beginners and those looking for a more relaxed and meditative experience.

Flow & Restore

This class combines the energizing movement of vinyasa flow with the calming stillness of restorative yoga. Begin with a gentle, flowing sequence that synchronizes breath with movement, building heat and flexibility. As the pace slows, transition into restorative poses, using props for support to fully relax and release tension. This balanced practice helps improve strength, mobility, and mindfulness, ending with deep relaxation. Suitable for all levels, it's perfect for those looking to rejuvenate the body and mind.

Fluid Mobility Flow

Fluid Mobility Flow is a dynamic and holistic class that combines elements of yoga, mobility drills, and flowing movement sequences to enhance flexibility, mobility, and overall body awareness. Rooted in yoga philosophy and principles, this class incorporates seamless transitions between poses and movements; fluidity in motion. With a focus on breath awareness and mindful movement, participants are guided through sequences that target different areas of the body, promoting joint mobility, muscle flexibility, and strength. The class often integrates core stability exercises, functional movement patterns, and relaxation techniques to create a well-rounded experience that nurtures the body, mind, and spirit.

Soulful Sunday Sadhana

Soulful Sadhana is a 90 minute masterclass where we explore an expansive scope of the yoga practice. The physical practice (asana) is only one small piece of yoga, an important part but not where our exploration ends. So in this class we dive a bit deeper, exploring more philosophy, pranayama and meditation as well.

I will choose a theme/concept/teaching to explore and the class will essentially be a soulful masterclass orbiting around that. These classes may include; a short philosophy lecture, meditation, mantra, pranayama, asana, yin postures, nidra, and/or journalling.

This class is dedicated to soul care. There is a poetic element to this practice, with a spiritual undertone. After practice we have herbal tea and pull a card from a deck.

Kids Yoga

Yoga for kids is quite different to an adult yoga class. It combines visualization & imagination, breathing, storytelling, and age-appropriate poses. By being met at their level, children are able to explore the mind and body through movement, connection, and stillness.

OMtots Yoga and Mindfulness aims to support children in finding their way, by providing a safe space for them to build a deeper connection to self, and to the world around them.

I am Cara Markewicz, an educator, health & wellness coach, kids yoga teacher and founder of OMtots Yoga & Mindfulness for kids.

I am so excited to share my knowledge and experience, and am deeply grateful to have found a way to blend my enthusiasm for wellbeing, with my passion for teaching young children.

Mindful Mamas Support Circle

Join Laura and Carey for a weekly Postnatal Support Circle. This is for expecting mamas and mamas with their bubs from 0-8months.

  • A safe and sacred space held compassionately by two experienced facilitators; Laura Atkinson and Carey Would

  • A growing community of mindful mamas to connect with

  • Weekly discussion topics exploring themes such as: feeding, sleep, self-regulation, mental health, relationships, baby stimulation and regulation.

  • Pre/Postnatal movement along with some nurturing touch
